STARBUCKS COMMITS TO 10,000 GREENER STORES BY 2025

STARBUCKS COMMITS TO 10,000 GREENER STORES BY 2025

As part of the Go-Green and sustainability measures the store Starbucks plans 10K Greener stores worldwide in a period of 5 years. This is a huge step towards planning & sustainability for the coffee company Starbucks has been serving many customers every day internationally. A period of 5 years is not considered a long period although it’s a half-decade. However, sustainable planning is the hour of the need for the relishing coffee company known globally as Starbucks Coffee. This commitment is also aimed towards the design, building, and operation of 10K greener stores worldwide.

What is meant by Greener Stores is part of an ideology to make sustainable developments while going Green. This includes agendas, meetings and measures regard to the Green developments. Having a synchronized plan on how to deal with the wastages and recycling. Recycling is always considered as one of the most primary things while achieving goals for Greener & sustainable developments. The frameworks or the line of agendas will be co-developed by the leading experts in sustainable developments and Green measurements. As an example, we can highlight the World Wildlife fund and audited and verified by SCS Global Services. This is a third-party verification organization that is used for the verifications that shall oversee Starbucks Coffee & Farmer Equity practices (C.A.F.E.).

According to the CEO & President of Starbucks to serve sustainably is our aspiration as Starbucks has a huge global presence. Kevin Johnson also added that the designing and building of greener stores is not only good for the company Starbucks in terms of the cost but also as part of green & sustainable developments. This will also help in the reduction of impacts that the global coffee company shall be facing otherwise. The focus is more reliant on energy efficiency & water stewardship, renewable energy, a healthy environment, responsible materials, waste divisions & engagement.
